FINAL THOUGHTS:
I have done something that many have not. I have given it my all for a great deal of time, and I have learned things that some people never will. Obviously I learned about hiking and all of its important facets, but I also learned how to cope in stressful and sometimes, life threatening situations. And I also learned how to learn. I reflected on how to treat people, and how people are not the same and perceive thing differently. Stress is a part of life, but its how you channel it that will either empower or discourage you or your objectives.
I’d like to thank everyone who donated and if you didn’t, it’s not too late; there are still two hikers out there! I’d like to thank my grandparent a.k.a. Mama and Bub for their donations to the hike and DVSAS, and there relentless support. Thanks to Mr. And Mrs. Croot for all of their constant help with the maildrops, slackpacks and additional support. Thanks to my two hiking partners for sticking with me. Thanks to Katie Scharer for the help with the Cutter and Buck sponsorship. Thank you to all our sponsors for making this trek possible. And thank you to Manca Valum, for all your help and support. To all reading this, have a great summer, and remember why we hiked!
